However, the US is a nation of the civilized. Civilized people don't do barbaric stuff.

As Mr. Spock taught an entire generation, "It is much easier for the civilized man to act as a barbarian than for the barbarian to act in a civilized man." Our search for grace has hampered our ability to defend ourselves in an appropriate manner.

Bernie, it's always good to read your words and rip them off from time to time. The word must get out no matter how it is done, the word must be spread like peanut butter so it sticks to the roofs of people's mouths, or kills those who are allergic to the spreading word.Indigo Redhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17906787350123925867noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12392119.post-28732023438948954562007-02-27T07:45:00.000-08:002007-02-27T07:45:00.000-08:00I appreciate the compliments. So it's easy to misrepresent the actions of the U.S. and ignore those of Islamofascists.

But they've taken it to such extremes that truth has become relative.

Or am I talking about Democrats? There's not much difference.

Especially when you have Senior U.S. Senator like Dick Durtbag, on the floor of the U.S. Senate compare the actions of our troops to Nazis, Soviets in their Gulags and Pol Pot.

What has happened is that reality has been warped to the point where it is easy for many on the left to remain in delusion and denial about the threat we face.

Meanwhile, things get a bit twisted in muzzie world when they compare US actions to the holocaust at the same time denying the holocaust ever happened.Mike's Americahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01262938295909490454noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12392119.post-71735897853095626412007-02-20T23:17:00.000-08:002007-02-20T23:17:00.000-08:00Sorry...what were you writing about? I think I'll have to come back in the morning, when I'm fresh, to reread this.

Or I could just fake it and say...

Great post!
