It simply isn't possible ...Of course, it will, Don. It simply isn't possible to change the minds of idiots and fools. Even within my own sibling group, formerly known as "brothers and sisters" before the words meant Blacks and Muslims, there are those who are having fits because of the warming crap.

There are those who conveniently forget the hot summer days of the 1960s. The temperatures at our country home would daily reach 110 degrees F. in the shade. Temps at the pool where we spent much of our time was recorded by us at 118 - 120 degrees F.

Many of those family still live in the area of our youth. The temps get high, but not even close to triple digits on a daily basis and remain in the 90's throughout the night. The next 5 days forecast for Auburn, Ca has a high of 106 on Sunday and the low is 75 on Tuesday. Two of the five days will be partly cloudy. CLOUDY! Why, in my childhood there was no such thing as a cloud in summer; everyday was bright blue, clear skies, dry and hot. Everyday was exactly like the last and the next - truely "endless summer."

Change people's minds - no way. I'm just waiting for 10-20 years from now when the heat cycle has past, the planet and inhabitants still thrive and I can hold Al Gore's Inconvenient Truth up in their faces and laugh at all those who fell for this Cock Robin foolishness for being maroons.

By then, the climate will be in a middling period and those same maroons will be complaining about the dangers of Global Pleasantness.Indigo Redhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17906787350123925867noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12392119.post-1153474739877062402006-07-21T02:38:00.000-07:002006-07-21T02:38:00.000-07:00Fascinating little bit of history Indi, but it wil...Fascinating little bit of history Indi, but it will fall on deaf ears.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
