President Orders Insurance Companies Provide Free Contraceptives

While we were distracted by the debt limit story, Obama decreed that health care companies will provide all women in the U.S. with copay free birth control.
WASHINGTON (AP) — Health insurance plans must cover birth control as preventive care for women, with no copays, the Obama administration said Monday in a decision with far-reaching implications for health care as well as social mores.
Woody Allen had a thought on the subject:

A case of the right hand not knowing what the Leftist hand is doing.

The idea that this benefit is "free" is misleading. We are ALL going to pay for it through higher insurance premiums. Costs to companies will be passed down to consumers too.

This is just another example of Obama's socialist plan for America. Use government to coerce private companies into fulfilling the socialist agenda and make everyone wards of the state for every aspect of their lives including birth control.

Why should I be paying for somebody else's screwing party?

who pays for the contraceptives is of little importance. Rather, the President of the United States has decreed private organizations, private businesses, do something for which no governmental personage has a right to do.

We worry about who is paying rather than who is ordering the payment and by what authority.
