We've Seen Idiocracy And It Is Us

If only this woman caller, Jo, in Boca Raton, FL, were alone in her delusion and stupidity, but sadly she is not alone and the numbers of stupid Americans grows by the hour. My readers know them, work with them, some are friends, and (shhhh!) some are family. We also know there is no way in hell to talk any sense into them.

Obama groupie, Matt Damon, in the only interview he's said anything sensible about Obama, told the New York Daily News last March that he was disappointed with Obama. He said, "Everyone feels a little let down because, on some level, people expected all their problems to go away." Obama's elevation to the highest office in the land also brought the dregs and offal to the surface.

This was only a very funny movie at the time and only four years later it seems sadly prescient.

I love this post! I do the same thing over at my blog:

Sadly, the movie is becoming more and more relevant as time goes on. If it's ok, I'm going to link to this post. Thanks!

Buck up, pal. You'll survive and be even stronger. Thank God for talk radio.

And it still freaks me out knowing there's a tiny talking guy inside my radio.
