Michael Jackson Dead

1980's pop music icon, Michael Jackson has died at his Holmby Hills, California mansion after apparent cardiac arrest around 12:20pm today. An aide called 911 and CPR was administered at the scene and in the ambulance. His sister, LaToya was seen running and crying in the UCLA Medical Center after Michael was pronounced dead.

Despite the weird behavior, plastic surgeries, and controversial "sleep-overs" with young boys at his Never Land Ranch in recent years, Michael Jackson will remain a major star and influence on the music and dance from his days with his brothers in the group The Jackson Five through to this day. He was currently working on a series of come-back performances with 50 dates scheduled. He was working out with Lou Ferrigno (The Amazing Hulk) to build his strength for his physically gruelling performances.

At a news conference in London recently, he told fans that the up-coming tour would be his "final curtain call... I just want to say that these will be my final show performances in London... This will be it. When I say this is it, this will be it."

Paramedics told TMZ that Jackson had no pulse when they arrived and were unable to get it back during the rush to UCLA hospital. It's being reported that Jackson suffered massive heart failure.

Farrah Fawcett Died This Morning

Farrah Fawcett, died Thursday morning shortly after 9:30am in a Santa Monica hospital. She battled for life for the past two years against colorectal cancer that never manged to destroy her spirit and love of life. One of three stars of Charlie's Angels, Farrah's blindingly white smile and sun blond big hair set the 1970s standard for feminine beauty.

A recent documentary, Farah's Story, followed Farrah with an unflinching eye as she groped for cures in both the United States and Germany. Barbara Walters interviewed Ryan O'Neal, Fawcett's long-time companion, earlier this week. He revealed he had asked her to marry him and she agreed. He said, ""We will [marry], as soon as she can say yes..."

What guy in the '70s didn't have this poster in his dormroom or bedroom at home? An icon is gone at 62 years old and still beautiful.

Obama: The Answer is Always Government ...

... no matter the subject or question.

Completely wrong, but, at least, it's easy to remember.
