Farrah Fawcett Died This Morning

Farrah Fawcett, died Thursday morning shortly after 9:30am in a Santa Monica hospital. She battled for life for the past two years against colorectal cancer that never manged to destroy her spirit and love of life. One of three stars of Charlie's Angels, Farrah's blindingly white smile and sun blond big hair set the 1970s standard for feminine beauty.

A recent documentary, Farah's Story, followed Farrah with an unflinching eye as she groped for cures in both the United States and Germany. Barbara Walters interviewed Ryan O'Neal, Fawcett's long-time companion, earlier this week. He revealed he had asked her to marry him and she agreed. He said, ""We will [marry], as soon as she can say yes..."

What guy in the '70s didn't have this poster in his dormroom or bedroom at home? An icon is gone at 62 years old and still beautiful.
