Bow or Shoe Fetish

For over 200 years, Americans have bowed to neither king nor queen, emperor nor empress, nor sheik, pasha, foreign potentate. Not even to domestic presidents have Americans prostrated themselves. April last, current White House Resident Obama bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia. Yes, yes, I know. It's not a bow! At least, that's what the White House wants us all to believe. Seems bowing is all the rage amongst those in influential positions. Except, among conservative bloggers.

This week, newsreader and Obama sycophant Brian Williams interviewed WHR Obama for the NBC Nightly News. At the end, Williams escorted Obama to the WH residence elevator, thanked the messiah, and then bowed.

What have we wrought? A purported American president subservient to a foreign potentate and an American citizen, a journalist no less, who's job it is to critically examine those in public office, grovelling at the feet of a political office holder as if their rolls are that of royal and serf.

Of course, the perceived bows could be the innocent actions of shoe fetishists.

Ewwww! That's disgusting, too!

Obama is GOD to NBC. GE stands to rake in billions from Obama's green programs and NBC News has most likely been promised help in squashing talk radio and Fox News.

P.S. Indigo, did you do a report on the Reagan Library?

No, I didn't write aboout the Reagan Library adventure. I was busy losing my job shortly after the visit. But, I should do so soon.

Sorry about your lay off. When we're all unemployed, who's going to pay us our earned unemployment insurance benefits? Yeah, I'm in a bit of a pickle. Like most working stiffs, I was only slightly ahead of paycheck to paycheck. When Revolution II starts hiring, I'll be first in line.

Walmart says they're hiring. Even if that's not your cup of tea, it's good news. At least it's _something_!
