Woolly Mammoths - Dry Clean Only

UC Santa Barbara researchers say that 14-foot-tall mammoths swam out to the Channel Islands nearly 20,000 years ago and shrank over time to the size of a pony.

Apparently, generations of animals, including ancient humans, tend to change size after many generations in isolated conditions...

That's true, BB. It's doubly true for anything woolly that is fully immersed in water.
