I can still hear it... "Lui chi e.... wooooh!"
Great fun. Just great.
The life of Indigo Red is full of adventure. Tune in next time for the Further Adventures of Indigo Red.
Hear me now oh thou bleak and unbearable world Thou art base and debauched as can be And a knight with his banners all bravely unfurled Now hurls down his gauntlet to thee! I am I, Don Quixote, the Lord of La Mancha Destroyer of Evil am I, I will march to the sound of the trumpets of glory Forever to conquer or die Hear me heathens and wizards and serpents of sin All your dastardly doings are past For a holy endeavor is now to begin And virtue shall triumph at last!

I didn't understand a word, but it was still entertaining. I've actually never heard of him before.
Well this was a great break from the Circus a/k/a Congress :-)
The song is about a guy who has a date and he wants to meet alone. When the couple meet for the date, the other has brought another man and our guy asks "Lue chi e?" (Who is he?)
The friend suggests that three, triangle (triangolo), might be fun, but our guy isn't so sure that would be good for the relationship that is just starting.
His date and the friend encourage our guy to just try it. The song says, "Mollalo!" which means, "Let it go!"
Renato Zero has never denied being gay and in his eary days, as seen in the video, was also a cross-dresser. He adopted his name, Zero, from the recurring insults "Sei uno zero!" It means 'you are a zero'.
Throughout his long career, he has shown the "normality of diversity" and he made a success of it. He remains the only Italian musician to have his songs hit number one in four different and successive decades, 70's through 2000.
Zero remains one of Italy's most beloved performers. He is one heck of a showman.
