Joe Biden, Barry O's VP running mate, according to AP, recently told CBS News,
"When the stock market crashed, Franklin D. Roosevelt got on the television and didn't just talk about the, you know, the princes of greed. He said, 'Look, here's what happened.'"That might be good enough for a graduate school history seminar, but it just isn't true in real life. Herbert Hoover(R) was the President in 1929 when the stock market crashed. Franklin D. Roosevelt(D) was elected to the Presidency two years later. Television was not yet a marketable reality. TV had its public debut a full decade after Black Tuesday at the 1939 New York World's Fair.
