Dead Al-Zawahiri Among the Undead

The Annual al-Zawahiri Death Report was released this past week.

An online report says U.S. government sources are trying to confirm that an airstrike in northwestern Pakistan has killed al-Qaida's deputy leader, Ayman al-Zawahiri.

According to the subscription report at Stratfor, the airstrike was on July 28, and sources were reporting that an announcement from the U.S. government is expected soon.

The report said the attack was carried out by a U.S. Predator attack plane.
The Annual al-Zawahiri Death Report Denial was also released this past week.

A Pakistani Taliban spokesman denied on Saturday a U.S. media report that al Qaeda number two, Ayman al Zawahri, might have been killed or wounded in a U.S. missile strike in Pakistan's border region last Monday.

"Zawahri has been killed by them several times. But once again this claim is wrong. This is baseless," Maulvi Omar told Reuters by telephone from an undisclosed location.

Although ridding the world of al-Zawahri would be of benefit, plenty of others are waiting to step up to take his place. AQ works as a team.

"He's been killed by them several times." LOL! The murderous thug is resurrecting himself. Sorry... just couldn't pass that one up. One thing is for sure, we can't believe Maulvi Omar or anyone else over there. Neither can we claim any of these people are dead without proof of their actual bodies, since we don't take heads. :)

I don't care. In the words of a great president.... "he isn't leading any parades" either.
