The Power of Your Brain

The human brain is an amazing thing. It is incredibly small, yet can perform functions more complex and faster than the best computers.

One of the things it does instantaineously is decode letters in series. We call those words. Usually the words are assembled in an agreed upon order and we recognize them without thought. But, what happens when the letters in the words are mixed up? Well, pretty much the same thing. It happens so quickly that witerrs need to get tehir pniot asorcs in jsut a few seodcns, or the raeedr's anitttoen is lsot.

Arinocdcg to rencet rseaerch, the hmuan brian is plrectfey albe to raed colmpex pasasges of txet caiinontng wdors in whcih the lrettes hvae been jmblued, pvioedrd the frsit and lsat leetrts rmeian in teihr crcerot piiotsons.

When finished with this post, I hit the SpellCheck option and the program froze up. The computer couldn't process all the jumbled words and it just quit. You, the human, got this far and that's farther that the microprocessors got. Congratulations.

Ah geez, I mdae it torghuh msot of teh atrclie. Tahn my eeys got treid. How long did it take you to type this? It wasn't too easy for me to type the incorrect words above, my fingers had a mind of their own. Did you have the same problem?

Great post. Want to improve your brain power? What I did was I went to http://www.subconscious-mind.org. So far, they have the best tips & guides to help you. Well, I tried and I definitely can see an improvement in my condition. So, you should consider trying it too.

That's too funny, Rose! No, I didn't have a problem ttyping because of copy and paste technology. I still haven't finished reading the article; there seems to be a point when the brains abilities are overtaxed and confussion takes over.

That's a good site, Sarah. Thanks. I have used the meditation and autosuggestion methods. The autosuggestion can get expensive though. Last time I used it, I bought a car.

I was able to read it without difficulty, Indigo, except for names that I'm unfamiliar with, tub I codnut rtewi taht ywa rfo glon without going nuts!

Worse yet, I forgot about that "copy and paste" stuff! Guess I'll check out the site Sarah suggested and improve my brain power.
Loved the line about 'autosuggestion', Red :-) It must have worked, you did get a very nice car.
