Can't Stop the War? Launch Personal Attack!

Harry Reid, the Senate Majority Leader, called Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Peter Pace "incompetent". Reid was being interviewed Tuesday by a group of liberal bloggers when he made the boneheaded comment. His comment has yet to be picked up by the MSM.

But, he didn't stop there, nosirreebob. Reid also made disparaging comments about Gen. David Petraeus.

Read the original article at Politico.

Boy, you just know a guy is getting desperate when the attacks become personal and frenzied. We have to cut Harry some slack, though. It can't be easy getting out of bed each morning knowing Nancy Pelosi will be waiting at the office.

Hmmm, that is not the finger he used when he beckoned people to visit him at the Nevada Governors Mansion during open house.

Oh my! I hadn't noticed the finger! I am shocked that a fine up-standing man of the Senate would be so crude.

This is the same Reid who said only a few months before that we need to "listen to the generals" in Iraq.

But I guess that's only if he likes that they have to say.

And it would appear that the only thing he likes to hear is that his country loses a war, casting shame on us all and trashing the sacrifice of those who gaves their lives.

I never thought I would miss Tom Daschole!

Same thing happened in Korea and VietNam. Democrats were in charge and didn't listen to the generals. Last time Dems listened to the generals was WWII and we won. Too bad that's not a war worth emmulating.
