Iran War Near

Israel had previously set a deadline of March 28, 2006 for taking military action against Iran's nuclear facilities, but Israel has said March 1 is the diplomatic zero point. The intent was to firmly warn Iran that if they did not cease the A-bomb development, there would be real consequences from Israel. In this arena, Israel has proven many times that the threats are backed by soid action as demonstrated at Entebbe, Uganda and Ossiraq, Iraq.

Unfortunately, in Israel, Prime Minister Sharon was felled by a series of strokes that has ended the career of a formidable player in ME politics. Probably believing Israel to be without resolve and rudderless and hoping to take advantage of the situation, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has chosen to break the seals on the nuclear facilities and begin processing fissionable material. Unlike the Islamic nations, Israel does not depend on the leadership of just one individual. It's personally hard to accept, but every leader in a free nation is replaceable without the nation falling apart or even skipping a beat.

General Aharon Zeevi-Farkash, Israeli military chief of intelligence, recently has said that March 1 is the deadline for diplomatic efforts to stop Iran from the actions it has already chosen. The situation is not yet irreversible. However, a military timetable is well under way for a strike to take out Iran's possible nuke capabilities, writes Joseph Farah of World Net Daily. The plans may, indeed, have already been set in motion with the downing of a military aircraft carrying many iof Irans top military leaders. The plane officially crashed due to malfunction. But, recent reports point to possible sabotage. Special Operations Forces of Israel and the US, and probably other Allied nations have been operating in Iran for some time identifying targets and carrying out other missions. It is entirely possible the plane was actually shot down, but we will probably never know for sure.

For the past decade, Iraeli Air Force pilots have been training against Russian made anti-aircraft defense networks like those owned by their Arab neighbors. With the aid of Russian emigre scientists and former Soviet era military personnel, the Israelis have purchased and captured the identical anti-aircaft systems that exist in Iran. They have become very adept at defeating the AA assets protecting the nuclear facilities.

More important than any of the training and equipment has been the cooperation between Israel, Turkey, and Greece. Details revealed recently by the Air Force has Israeli jets stationed at bases inside Turkey and Turkish fighter jets reciprocally stationed in Israel. After years of refusals to cooperate in any way with Israel, Greece is participating with the Israeli Air Force. The joint participation of both Greece and Turkey, especially Turkey a nominally Islamic state bordering Iran, is a major development in the balance of power of the Middle East. That the two long time enemies, Greece and Turkey are working together on anything may be the nearest we may see of a genuine miracle.

In more immediate news, members of the Fort Wayne-based 122nd Fighter Wing are scheduled to leave for Southwest Asia about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday from the unit's headquarters on Ferguson Road, reports the News Sentinel. The F-16 Fighter Wing stationed in Fort Wayne is being forward deployed in Southwest Asia, generally known as the Middle East. Hmmm, says Pamela of Atlas Shrugs, who finds it mighty convenient to have a flight of American fighter-bombers in the area just about the time of an Israeli air assault against Iran.

It seems time is growing even shorter for Iran as unexpected events take place. The Iranians will have to totally back down to survive, but without the glow-worm Ahmadinejad, or suffer the consequences with him very soon.

NSA Traitor Admits Guilt

Russell Tice, thy name is Benedict Arnold.

Tice is the self-admitted NSA source for the NY Times domestic surveillance story. Last night, Tice told Brian Ross of ABC News that

"secret "black world" operations run by the NSA were operated in ways that he believes violated the law. He is prepared to tell Congress all he knows about the alleged wrongdoing in these programs run by the Defense Department and the NSA in the post-9/11 efforts to go after terrorists.

"The mentality was we need to get these guys, and we're going to do whatever it takes to get them."

I have no problem with doing whatever is necessary to defeat, thwart, capture, or kill the enemy. I am not calling Zarqawi, Zawahiri, or bin Laden to wish then a nice day, so I have no concern at all that my phone is bugged. Those who do make calls to terrorists should feel the heat.

Russel Tice was dismissed by the NSA for what the agency called "psychological concerns." Tice apparently was what is known in the civilian world as a disgruntled worker. If he had comcerns, there are avenues to address those concerns within the government. Making known on-going secret surveillance programs to newspapers and other media in time of war is not one of those avenues; it is treason.

Howard Dean: No Dem took money from Abramoff

Howard Dean was interviewed by Wolf Blitzer Sunday night on the CNN "Late Edition" program (CNN transcript.) Dean emphatically states, despite evidence to the contrary, that no Democrat received money from Abramoff, associates, or assorted minions. Now, it isn't surprising Dean should say such a thing. What is frightening is that he actually believes this crappola as well as the majority of the Democrat party membership.

The Democratic Party blogsite provides this and follow the video link to Crooks and Liars:

BLITZER: Should Democrats who took money from Jack Abramoff, who has now pleaded guilty to bribery charges, among other charges, a Republican lobbyist in Washington, should the Democrat who took money from him give that money to charity or give it back?

DEAN: There are no Democrats who took money from Jack Abramoff, not one, not one single Democrat. Every person named in this scandal is a Republican. Every person under investigation is a Republican. Every person indicted is a Republican. This is a Republican finance scandal. There is no evidence that Jack Abramoff ever gave any Democrat any money. And we've looked through all of those FEC reports to make sure that's true.

BLITZER: But through various Abramoff-related organizations and outfits, a bunch of Democrats did take money that presumably originated with Jack Abramoff.

DEAN: That's not true either. There's no evidence for that either. There is no evidence...

BLITZER: What about Senator Byron Dorgan?

Contrary evidence detailing the Democrats dollar take has been published by Mike's America, here at Indigo Red, and many other blogs. Far too many Democrats have agreed or volunteered to return any monies received from Abramoff and his associates for Dean to make a credible argument that "not one single Democrat" took money. If no money had exchanged hands, why would any Democrat or Republican feel it necessary to return the money that was never given?

Iran to Host Holocaust History Rewrite

President Ahmadinejad has
denied the Holocaust and
called for Israel to be
"wiped off the map".

Now we'll get the truth, by golly! From the Drudge Report the following story comes out of Iran. President Mahmoud "Glow Worm" Ahmadinejad, has invited the worlds's intellectuals to Tehran to participate in an investigation into the truth of the "Jewish Question", "The Final Solution", The Holocaust of European Jewry by NAZI Germany, the role model of modern Islam.

Reprinted here, in its entirety, is the article published in Adnkronosinternational, an Italian internet site.

Tehran, 5 Jan. (AKI) - Iran has decided to rewrite and revise the history of the Holocaust. Following the repeated declarations by the Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and other senior government officials on the need to re-examine the history of the genocide of the Jews during the Second World War, the association of Islamic Journalists of Iran has been tasked with quickly putting together an international conference on the Holocaust.

"President Ahmadinejad has placed at the centre of international attention, a very important question on the truthfulness of the version that Europe and the Zionists have imposed on the world on the murder of Jews during the years of the great war, and therefore we are of the opinion that it is useful and necessary to organise an international conference on that theme, where all the historians and researchers, even those that do not believe in the official version, will be able to express themselves freely," Mehdi Afzali, spokesperson of the Association of Islamic Journalists told Adnkronos International (AKI).

"We want to offer a free and democratic platform to the historians to examine in-depth this myth, seeing that in different European countries there exist laws against democracy and freedom that to do not allow intellectuals who believe in a version distinct from that which is officially pronounced on the Holocaust," added Afzali.

"We will invite those who believe in the imposed version as well as all those who have spent years of their lives in the study of documents related to the Holocaust and have come to the conclusion that the history books in schools and universities do not correspond to the truth," said Afzali, who however refused to supply the names of the revisionist historians who have been contacted to appear in the conference in Tehran. Revisionists are those who deny that the Holocaust ever happened.

In Iran, books by the English historian, David Irving, currently in custody in an Austrian jail after having been accused of denying the Holocaust, are very popular.

Among the names of possible guests at the conference are the Israeli journalist lsrael Shamir, a convert to Christianity, and Horst Mahler from Germany, a former member of the the terrorist group, the Red Army Faction. Other revisionist scholars, such as the French Robert Faurisson and the American Arthur Butz, are also some of the other possible participants of the conference in Tehran.

Impeachment of President Plotted by Terror Supporters and Drunk

Rep. John Conyers introduced to the House of Representatives last month HR 635 calling for an investigation by a Select Committee into "the administration's intent to go to war before congressional authorization, manipulation of pre-war intelligence, encouraging and countenancing torture [and] retaliating against critics...[and] make recommendations regarding grounds for possible impeachment."

(NOTE: The word used in the British report relating to pre-war intelligence was "fix". The Democrats use the word in the American manner of "to arrange, to manipulate". However, the more common meaning in Great Britain is "to establish, to make firm." Using the British form causes to the whole meaning of the report to change and renders the Democrats objections meaningless.)

Sen. Ted Kennedy, a Massachusetts drunk, said on "This Week" (ABC), "I'm concerned about the abuses of executive power in the areas of torture and the areas of spying - and about how we're treating individuals in terms of the court systems." [I'm concerned that this fat, sloppy, drunken murderer is still walking the streets of America.]

Speaking with the Vermont Guardian, Sen. Russ Feingold said there should be "an orderly and dignified" investigation of the NSA domestic surveillance. "If there was a legal violation there needs to be accountability." How about investigating the authorizations of NSA spying by Presidents Carter and Clinton during their reigns of terror. Feingold added he would not exclude impeachment.

Along with Conyers, drunk Kennedy, and Feingold, there are seven other Senate terror advocates committing to this treasonous action. They are:

Rep. Lois Capps (D-CA)
Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-CA)
Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA)
Rep. Lynn Woolsey (D-CA).
Rep. Donald Payne (D-NJ)
Rep. Charles Rangel (D-NY)
Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee (D-TX).
I'm sensing a pattern here.

Conyers goes so far as to say there is "at least a prima facie case that these actions" were in violation of federal law. In the legal world, "prima facie case" means one in which the evidence produced is sufficient to enable a decision or verdict to be made unless the evidence is rebutted.

In the land that invented 'innocent until proven guilty', the President must prove his innocence. The terror advocates have no intention of investigating anything. The accusation is proof enough of guilt. They have already found the President guilty. All they need do now is break into the White House, haul out Bush, and lynch him in the Rose Garden. Then John Kerry* will take his rightful place as Grand Pooh-Bah.

*He was in VietNam.

I Support Queers and Smokers (Well, at least these guys.)

In discovering I had moved up in the Ecosystem (yea!!!) to Flippery Fish from Slimy Molluscs(sic) -I think it's spelling should be Slimy Mollusk - I found I was beat out one space by Smokers Liberation Front (yuck!) at position 9698. Now, I'm not a smoker and I don't advise the activity, but, I can't tell people they can't die a slow death if they want. These guys point out that the NAZI's were started the anti-smoking campaign. I suppose if I'm going to support the Jews, I might as well not antagonize smokers - at least the ones supporting the rights of the individual over the "we know what's best for you" nanny state.

Just one slot below me at 9700, is a real dandy blog called Queer Conservative out of Atlanta (and closet,)GA. This was a pleasant surprise. He says it's lonely being a Conservative Gay where the definition of Queer is Conservative Republican. I think he is well worth reading. Go and see for yourself. Please.
