Vernon Robinson: America's Twilight Zone

This is a great political ad, most are merely annoying, the best are just plain stupid, but this one says what I'm thinking, so it is great.

Vernon Robinson, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, is running for Congress as a Republican. He says he is "a bold and articulate spokesman for limited government, traditional Judeo-Christian values, free market principles, colorblind laws, a strong military, and secure borders." ..."My race has been targeted as one of the battleground contests that will decide whether the Democrats win a majority of House seats this November."

Only Democrats, the Bg Tent inclusive party, would consiously and conscienciously use a man's race as a negative attribute. Vernon Robinson, Republican from N. Carolina, is Black, an African-American, Afro-American, and all those other Democratically inspired euphomisms meant to bring people together that in reality only serve to push us farther apart. Vernon Robinson is an AMERICAN, born and raised.

ANNOUNCER: (Twilight Zone theme song) If you're a conservative Republican, watching the news these days can make you feel as though you are in...The Twilight Zone. Americans are under attack from Islamic extremists in every corner of the world. Homosexuals are mocking holy matrimony, and the lesbians and feminists are attacking everything sacred. Liberal judges have completely rewritten the Constitution. You can burn the American flag and kill a million babies a year, but you can't post the Ten Commandments or say "God" in public.

CHILDREN: One nation, under -- Shhh!

ANNOUNCER: Seven out of every ten black children are born out of wedlock, and Jackson and Sharpton claim the answer is racial quotas -- and the aliens are here, but they didn't come in a spaceship. They came across our unguarded Mexican border by the millions.

VERNON ROBINSON: I'm Vernon Robinson. If you send me to Congress, I'll send that back to the Twilight Zone. I approve of this message, and of traditional American values. (Leave It to Beaver theme song).

I liked the radio ad with the Bill Cosby stuff. I thought of posting it, but then I'd be accused of being racist by pointing out such obvious truths.

I heard this guy and all of his ads on talk radio. He really has his head screwed on straight and that probably excludes him from gaining office.

Bill Cosby is a great man when it comes to the particular subject of responsibility. But, here even Bill is accused of being racist because he doesn't blame whitie for all of blackies problems.

After many years of saying that RACE does not exist, that there is not an ounce of difference between races, I give up. Mike, I am a racist, and so is everyone else. Take the label and make it your own. I've come to learn that "race" through it's history simply means "group of like people, animals, or things." Charles Dickens once wrote,"The current race of lawyers..." going on to say the lawyers were crooks of the highest order. I would never have thought on my own that 'lawyer' was a race.

I was listening to the radio when I first heard Robinson. What a fresh breath of clean air he is. He is definitely of the classic American race. I'm glad he's running and showing that black Americans are not a monolithic mass voting and thinking only as Jackson/Sharpton demand.
