Enough Slacking

Mike's America wrotes to me saying:

O.K. Indigo... enough slacking.I've tuned in twice this week awaiting a further adventure.

P.S. And don't forget to play the song:
http://islamcomicbook.com/media/Islamnot4me.mp3:

ISLAM'S NOT FOR ME

They tried to tell me my religion was wrong.
They tried to tell me to follow Islam.
They said their "Prophet" was a righteous dude,
But I found out none of their words were true.

I read the Qur'an and I read the Hadith,
And the sickness of Mohammed was apparent to me.
He justified perversion in the name of Allah,
When he married a girl too young for a bra.

She was playing with dolls when the "Prophet" came.
Her childhood was stolen in Allah's name.
Aisha was nine when he took her to bed.
Don’t tell me that fool's not sick in the head.

I ain’'t gonna follow no child molester, sex offender, Prophet pretender.
I ain’'t gonna follow no child molester! Islam's not for me!
Islam's not for me!

The sickness of the Islamic mind,
Has caused some mullas to be blind.
To justify their "Prophet" they will justify sin,
So the sins of the "Prophet" are repeated again.

All over the world in Islamic states,
Nine year old girls suffer cruel fate,
Sold into marriage to twisted men,
And Aisha’s sad story is repeated again.

I ain’'t gonna follow no child molester, sex offender, Prophet pretender.
I ain’'t gonna follow no child molester! Islam's not for me!
Islam's not for me!

Do you care about women all over the world?
Do you care about those little girls?
Better stand up and fight for human rights,
Speak out against the laws of Islam!

I ain’'t gonna follow no child molester, sex offender, Prophet pretender.
I ain’'t gonna follow no child molester! Islam's not for me!
Islam's not for me!
Islam's not for me!

Even my own sister Indigo Rose says:

Okay, is not updating your blog the best way for you to get an e-mail from me?!
Is all okay? Or just not enough to talk about?

I 'spose an explanation is in order. It's not my fault! No, really, it isn't. When I signed up for DSL (why isn't it pronounced 'diesel'?) a couple of years, I got state of the art technology as far as this 19th century guy knew. Everything work at the speed of light and I was one happy blogger.

A month ago, SBC bought AT&T and took on the AT&T brand name. Then my world shattered on Easter Day when the phone companies nefarious plan went into effect. The hot signal I was getting suddenly wasn't so hot and AT&T discontinued support for the signal, but didn't tell the subscribers. What AT&T did was continue charging outragious prices for the signal that was transmitted 4000 feet from the signal site. I am 4000 and 12 feet away and the internet connection is lost every few minutes. I can't tell you how many posts I've written or started only to have them lost in the ether.

I called AT&T and got a very nice young man who had experienced the same problems with his SBC/AT&T connection. He told me I was still on a copper wire sub-station and too far away. However, there is a brand new fiber optics sub-station very near to which I can get connected. The switch will require loss of service for a day or two while the physical work is done, but I'll still have the obsolete signal and obscenly high price. OR, I can cancel the internet service all together, wait three to four days and sign up for the NEW internet service on fiber optics. This will also require down time, but the new service is only 1/4 the cost and it's better and faster.

So, that's what I'll do. This coming week I will be jonesing for internet big time. With your thoughts, prayers, good wishes, and wads of cash thrown my way I'll get through this adventure and be back to blogging better than ever.

Till then, I bid you all adoo awdew ahduw...uhhh...farewell!

The life of Indigo Red is full of adventure. Tune in next time for the Further Adventures of Indigo Red.

Go for the cheaper service. Even if you do lose service and have to head to the public library to use their internet connection for a day or two.

I hate AT&T. They are experts at apologizing and lousy for actually doing their job.

It's worse here. I can only get high speed service from the phone company, via cable. They also own the cable franchise. There is no other option for landline phone service or high speed internet.

I want to switch to an IP phone service but I still have to pay these local bastards $$$ for the high speed connection.
